    Gytr

The shorty is going to be short lived...
Like the sound but fuck, its a constant inside my lid.
Maybe because its situated under the front pegs but plans are underway to have it replaced to a GYTR carbon fibre can that its not as loud and will be achored futher back around the pillon pegs..

May not work for you, but I went to an exhaust place and had them make me a small bend which was the same diameter as the outlet. I pushed it in a bit and was able to tune the sound away from the bike. Not any difference standing behind the bike but a huge drop in sound while riding.

    Just a thought.

...as luck would have it, there has been another sale made and the chap wants a shorty so he can have mine...
The dealer is really good about it, not a problem..

At the Yamaha Australia stand at the Moto GP on the weekend they had a FZ8 that they had fitted a GYT-R Carbon Fibre pipe to. The longer pipe that they are putting on the YZF-R1. Looked good, more in proportion to the bike. Couldn't hear it running though.

...I felt the need for one after seeing an Arrows one on a Repsol Honda.
I didn't want to ride away with the stock pipe and a shorty was offered as a replacement so I agreed. I was just going to get something else and sell the one I have but no need to now.

That looks like the one that they had at the show. It looked good on the FZ8.

It is a completely different bike now given the extra length added.
    Sounds amazing.
The best thing about it is...I only have one person to please.
