Was that a failed bunch of attempts at backing it in by the rider with the cam???
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
Bullshit Marcus! If you don't get a rush when you're racing (which is where you do most of your riding), YOU'RE doing it wrong.
To the OP asking if I've seen anything like that, yip. Every Thursday night. Just ask anyone who doesn't go on TRTNR but knows of it, they'll tell you it's how we roll.
Their is a road up around the Scottish borders which hosts a GP every weekend. Dozens of riders going back & forth & dozens more spectating on the best corners. On Monday morning some of the corners have as much rubber on them as a race track would & you can see the white lines on the road off the hero blobs dragging. Some of the riders are f@#$%n insane & some of them are genuine Proddy racers. It's a lethal environment. So, yeah, seen plenty of road "racing" & it's consequences.
.Of course the Russians have their own way of riding thru traffic. After the wheelies in oncoming traffic it gets interesting.

Brings back memories of London DRing doesn't it Katman!
Bollocks. The reason I got a bike in the first place was the adrenaline. The reason I continue to ride is the same. It sure isn't for the comfort, weather protection, music, normal clothes, load carrying capacity, fuel economy, or any of the other myriad reasons not to ride a bike.
My question would be why do people ride if not for the adrenaline?
While I agree to some extent with what you've said I would have to strongly question the MO of how you go about getting your adrenaline rush on 2 wheels.
I certainly do understand that riding can be an exhilarating experience and one which should certainly be using 110% of your brain power while doing it (ups the level of concentration and survival mode). What I object to, as many will know from my previous posts of this nature, is the fact that public safety is obviously waaaaay down the list of priorities by people such as those in the OP vid. They clearly rate their own need for the rush higher than the mortal safety of ordinary joe public road user.
I'd even go so far as to say they must have enormous egos to believe that their godlike prowess overrides the right of others on the road to safety.
i dont see anything too bad with that vid, i love the wheelies as they pass every car hahah
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot
I agree with you about the safety issue, however, car drivers who are going the speed limit can be just as dangerous. I was riding home on the mtwy today and this old lady pulls right into my lane without looking and runs me off the road. So, while I agree that racing should be kept for the track I disagree that joe public is a safe individual. Joe public is just as much as a problem as the bike racers are, at least in my opinion. This opinion is based on my personal experience, that is, being hit by joe public and his car and having multiple close calls due to joe public.
NO MY OPINION IS THE BEST!.....
This thread makes me lol, i like it!![]()
Lifes short DRINK BEER!
Hahaha...its been way too long Drew!(I knew you couldn't resist that one!)
But seriously, exhilarating, exciting, awakening and all other sorts of feelings DO flow, but I know when I have adrenalin and its only when I fuck up and think I'm about to die...I don't race for that feeling.
I know a lot of people like the feeling of "oh shit, this is it for me!" but that ain't me. Call it old age I guess![]()
Do you race Berries? You seem to think the only exciting feeling that is possible is adrenalin? I disagree, and in fact I don't enjoy the uncontrolled burst of adrenalin you get when your about to die...I'll leave that to the squids that ride like in the OP vid.
I can answer your last question easily...I'm addicted.
I'm addicted to getting faster and better...that's why I get on a bike. Once I'm too old and sore to continue on this path, I'm sure I will still be around bikes to try and help some other young up and comer to realize their talent. Its 100% NOT about adrenelin and its all about the challenge.
