For those with the worn splines under your front sprockets... the Loctite680 trick seems to be working for two of us so far.
Fingers crossed but looks good for

I've been cleaning out my pc and have found 3 sets of exploded parts diagrams for the RD03, RD04 and RD07 AT's, and a PDF file of the Haynes service manual for Honda 600 and 650 Transalps and 750 AT's from 1987 to 2002.

Each set of exploded diagrams are just over 1mb each, and the Haynes PDF is about 54mb. Any interest in them before I delete them? the exploded diagrams I can email but the PDF is a bit big. There's also a pdf on modifying or fixing the fuel pump to stop them frying.

Edit: also found other versions of PDF workshop manuals for the RD04 and 07 but they are in German and another I think for the RD07 but it's in polish or something, plus something about fixing the tripmeter but it's also in polish or whatever.

Actually there are countries in the world where people would willingly scratch their own corneas in order to obtain an AT

finally got a ride yestoday but didnt go well.
got 10km or so and the rear wheel bearing went, so slowly ride back home. got some new ones and put it all back together only to find the wheel was tight. so had a think and found there was a spacer missing between the sprocket bearing and the hub one. dont know how long its not been in there but going to give the bloke i got it a call to see if he knows whats happend to it.
any way now got to try and find a new spacer befor i can ride it now. may be il get a ride befor winter comes if im luck

You might want to check the splines on the output shaft,I sent him e mails asking why he sold it so soon and asking how much as I was interested in buying it back but he never got back to at all......top tip......never listen to your partner telling you one of your toy,s has to go.........any way hope you enjoy it as it is the best bike I ever had......

yep got it from a russian from here. said he was selling it as he needed to buy a taxi or somthing. sold me his helmet to so dont think he plans to get another bike.
bit worried about looking at the output shaft now, plan to have a good look over it in a bit to check everything is ok.

I won,t tell you how much I sold it for but the shaft was ok when I sold it to him,he said he changed the head bearings but I had already done them so I ,m sort of inclined to take a pinch of salt with what he says. I did the fuel pump mod and the reg rec so you should have no worries about reliability as it never let me down ....

nothing like a blank canvas! The ABS fairings are all sandable and with the right primer job should come up well! I need to restore my fairings too. Completly destoyed my left rear on the WAR ride last month... if you want ideas just google search images of africa twins. There are plently of fine examples of basic custom jobs.
