I did ALL the preparation I could have done, I was told that the licence was the correct licence to bring along for the test.

When you booked the test and had your eyes tested you were not given a temporary licence to remove the glasses condition, yes?

Did you then confirm with the AA that you no longer needed to wear glasses and your existing credit card type licence was the correct document to bring to your test?

Let this serve as a warning to everyone else sitting a licence test. Check your licence BEFORE you know people will be looking at it, and if one tiny little thing is wrong, get it sorted. You have now failed to answer the same questions from two sources. Did you enquire as to wether the eyesight condition on your existing licence would affect your being able to sit the test? It isn't a hard question.

I find it a little hard to believe that both the person being trained, and the person training said person both failed to pick it up. Did you know that all applications are double checked the next day before being sent off for processing to make sure things like this don't happen?
