Also the ones I'm not worried either way about fucking but who are interesting on other merits.

Those ones are few and far between, though, so your statement is correct in the most part. Men are, generally, much more interesting to actually associate with.

Oh, I don't wonder; I do understand. I just thought I should back off from the needling for a bit to clarify an important point.

Funnily enough, my observation has been that anyone who waves the number of years they've been riding for around as some sort of credential generally tends to dispense bad advice.

Advice needs to stand on its own merits.

And your statements weren't clear enough, so I felt that they needed countering. I think that with Katman and Crasherfromwayback's posts above we've reached an accurate picture that can stand as good advice to all.

Oh you have always had such a way with words! There will always be attention whores (male and female) here; n00bs will continue to ask seemingly inane questions (often they either don't know quite how to articulate what they want, or are just over-eager to participate - nothing really wrong with either of those premises); some blokes here will always feel that any member here who has tits'n'bits is only potential rogering material; blah blah blah I could go on.

But you are right in that clearly stated advice should be easily identifiable as pearls of wisdom to mull over, and bullshit is, well, always bullshit no matter who is spouting it.

As I said, I know fuck all, about fuck all...... and if stating how many years you've been riding means you dispense bad advice?? Then I had better go get some L plates .... again I am no EXPERT or professional instructor, just have 'survived' that long.... is that enough clarification?

So...does that mean that THIS is bullshit then..?

Bugger. I thought it worked quite well. Should've left the 44yrs bit out, I suppose...
