sidechair would be a good petrol tanker. You could even fit Jatz in there.

    Have a good one guys.
I may do it on Anzac days if you guys reckon it's ok to lone wolf it down there.

Nordie do you think you could make it a track on your GPS so I could download it onto mine?

Looks like I should be OK for tomorrow (by afternoon, I may not be saying the same though)...
Wouldn't mind repeating on Anzac day too...

    GPS is mounted...

Should be at Murch at about 10:20-10:30?

I was only basing that time on my own lack of speed.

So how much time are you expecting to take? Is it feasible to do the Porika/ Braeburn/Maruia saddle as well as the Denniston? I would have thought the Denniston return would be a full day?

If I leave at 7am.. 1 hour up to St Arnauds.. (over 100k up that valley)
    that leaves 2 - 2 1/2 hours for the Porika/Braeburn/Mangle valley/murch..

Can't see the point rideing passed the turn to get to Murch...

Missing the porika, mruia would still be a good full day but with lots of time to take in the scenery on the mackley leg which their is in a bundance.

Mmmm Anzac day, right you ducks get in line, I said get in line you waddling potential roasts. This may require some planning.

At least your high beam works to modern standards.

    25w of 6v goodness, isn't really a hell of a lot.

The bead finally bedded around the rim locks by the time we got to Murch and went well all the way home.
Although I'll be putting a different tube in the new tyre. A 120/100 Pirelli heavy duty is a bit of a mission to install in a 120/80 tyre.

Got breathalized in Tahuna and Mr Plod says "hey, am I on tv?"

well that was a nice day out, I got in at 10pm and my concentration was starting to go and the aches were setting in on the last half hour of gravel before home.
How many k's did you do nordie ? I'll add 220 to yours so I can work out my oil consumption
