22 year old? don't think I've ever owned anything that modern

each to their own really.. 2 strokes bit of an enthusiasts bike.. gotta ride em hard, they are different

the cbrs are plenty of fun too and maybe a bit learner/novice rider friendly? depends how keen you are..

you could def get a cbr for cheaper than 5,5 tho, 6 month wof is only worth what 35 bucks, and rego is rego.. and 3,000km insurance i dunno what that is.. but u can get insurance fairly cheap from NAC or protecta on L licence

For that kind of coin you could get something a lot newer, and with a much more detailed history. You could buy a 2 year old cbr or ninja off someone who just got their full for that. Don't buy that one.

Why do you want an aftermarket exhaust?

What happens with LAMS changes though. they wont be able to be owned by someone on a learners or restricted.
Idd by the cheapest bike possible until lams change then a larger cafe racer after personally.
Maybe even start out on a 250 enduro or motard that wont loose value when the change happens.

If you want a CBR, look on trademe. There are loads of them, and don't assume because a dealer has it that its been looked after. Its probably a trade in.

You won't be able to buy one when LAMS is in, but if you already own one it's okay.

One service will not fix a lifetime of abuse.
