Just on my way back from Spa having a ride there. Xr69 copies everywhere. 12500 pounds gets a new roller.goodfellow rode a gsxr not a f1 xr69. The xr69 was the works issue f1 bike from 80-83 or so. A mate in the uk has a 69 on order to go with his full spec dimple case gs1000 yoshie motor...might get a ride on it sometime!

Think Kens to busy building the Manx reps to build up the frame kits, some one should lease the jigs and build them and pay Ken a royalty. If you could make one to fit the Kawa engines even better as a bigger customer base.
Steve Roberts could make the plastic fantastic also just do the frame kits.

Ken never built xr69's.
No offence to ken, but trident engineering (which who are building these things) xr69 make any Mc look very average. Has to be seen to be believed.
I'd rather spend my money on the xr (and I've owned 2x Mcintoshes)

Spa was brilliant. The bike was fast and the guys had fitted new tyres too. Fri a bit slow while I ran in new pistons and then rained all day. Sat onwards and once I got a handle on the track again it was all o, though still quite cautious as quite a few wobblers. Did a lap of the full length 14km circuit . I was front of the plebs so was in with a few stars like braun, read etc. what a circuit!

36k kiwi is less than half the cost of a poxy manx norton. I know which I'd have in a heart beat and of it ain't got a tuning fork on the tank I'd not normally be interested.
These are essentially the most speccy pre 82 4 stroke you can get. Replica or not you are getting works level chassis. Michael Dunlop did a touch under 120mph av lap at the Manx... Think that answers everything.
