Correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that they dropped the "Marina" name when they fitted the 1700 mill. They were simply called "Morris 1700" and "Morris 1700 HL"

I had one in that sort of apricot colour, then sold it to my son. He had it for years, we both loved it.

I always called it "The Marina". I didn't ever realise they had dropped the name.

Not very long afterward, it was rebadged in the UK as the ITAL, though the ITAL works have no record of it and will not ever admit their faus pas

How's the Marina going scummy?

I dropped my radiator off today to get a new drain hole/plug put on as currently I've been using a wooden bung to keep the coolant in lol

Going bloody well - no regrets about buying it (Yet!)

Only one factory fitted guage (fuel) to worry about and it hardly moves.

The after-market temp. guage is the only other dial - and it doesn't scare me....

I'm a sick man, I have a thing for the 2 door S version with twin carbs, I freaking love them. I'd be a seriously happy chappy if I could find one and restore it

The Ital was slightly different. It had a different front with ugly big rectangular lights. Not sure if there were any other changes.
