The good thing there was, we went down, not up

The rescue helicopter was out tonight off Halifax St East, up the hill.
Some BIG searchlights, 4-5 torches on the ground and someone got winched up...

Woman walker in her 40s broke her leg. When will these people realise the danger of exercising

Must have been on a section of those slippery wooden stairways.

In the first 4 photos, it was pissing down.

The winds were so strong up at the base of Everest that the tape and signs were blowing away.

    Really foggy too.

Hello. I am communicating with you all on a new piece of technology.
    It is called an iPad.
Notice how the I is small at the beginning of the name iPad. Pretty nifty idea.
I'm expecting most of you people don't know what an iPad is- well imagine a blank pad like a writing pad however you don't write on it with a pen but a keyboard is part of the screen.

Yes really! I'm stabbing my digit onto images of letters and the corresponding words are presented on the screen.

Apparently these have only been out for a few weeks and are regarded by the tech savvy such as myself to be the best technological breakthrough since the intertrap was invented late last year.

I believe one can also use them to design windscreens with a app (short for application- yes cool abb isn't it) called wind tunnel.

There is also a game where you can actually catapault willing little brightly colored birds into structures of timber, glass, rocks and all sorts . Very entertaining.

    Ok toddles!
