    Kawasaki have won multiple world GP titles with belt drive on their KR250's and 350's.

    Belt drive was used on the KR250s they ran in the States but I'll bet my left one that Ballington and Mang both used chain drive in their title wins.

    That would make sense to me now. Thought they all ran belts. My bad. Maybe with the American market having the LTD750 cruiser with belt drive they felt the need to prove how good/versatile it was? Or was that after the KR's time? I know the later GPZ305's etc used belt.
