YEp, the only uphill single track was abandoned part way through the race, but we seemed to pop up it no trouble at all.

An interesting dismount was caught on film though.

Maruia saddle's a bit un-cared for, but good none the less. Ended up going to Greymouth/Punakaiki/Westport as I had an afternoon to fill in after lunch
I sorta like having a nice bike to ride
Beaut day for riding & nice pics James, you would have really en joyed the coast. Our crew did Inwoods, Olivers , Sherry forest with no opposition from tin tops , ditto last w/end. Next on agenda Patriach & associated forest.

Grrr! I accidentally switched my camera on while putting on my helmet at the carpark. So for the first half of the ride, all I got was the talking bits between the riding bits - so no footage of the single track bits.
    Cheers,
    Colin

Took the long way home from a job in Tapawera...

Via Sunday Creek, Jacobs Ladder, Rosedale Saddle, Old Coach Rd, River Rd Appleby...

Was very pleasant, even with a bald rear tyre...
