No sorry, was always a sprinter. Well that and my feet are still blistered from Sundays effort.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

Big orange thing. Have just got a Shorai battery, so Woodman won't have to give me a push. A few other things: new grips, air filters, and some anti-mud foam to mess with. Oh, and kiwipeet has sent me his old front rim which is much less pretzeled than mine.
    Cheers,

    I'm running the computer

743 runners to keep track of

I ran the computer from 1996 to 2005 including I think 3 national champs and they asked me back again when they got their bid accepted to run this years one.

Fun in theory. Stressful for several days though

Wooooh went for a blat this avo just as a squall came thru. I nearly got blown off my bike & got pelted with hail- when I turned into Milton St just by Nordies place the sun came out.

Went gravel riding around the forest - everything has been blown pretty dry.

Was out relaying from 9am to 6pm...

Still more to do on the computer to fine tune the results...

The full course was 72km long...

Brilliant but windy day here in Wellington, up until late afternoon. You could see the snow down on the Kaikouras, though - looked recent...
IT'S JUST BETTER WHEN THERE'S TWINS INVOLVED..

Bitterly cold wind came in late today, that's for sure!

Seem to have lost all my enthusiasm for time out in the shed tonight.
    Cheers,

Now the TT has been opened up, I see I need some more gaskets and bungs than expected...

There's 4 plastic pads on top of the cam bearings that the cam cover sits on.
    One is broken.

NordieBro informs me they're actually rubber.
So that means they're probably over 20 years old and been through a few heat cycles...

Just been for a cruise over Central Rd, Westleys Rd, down the Duck Pond and back home.

Road conditions are good, they've put a couple of boulders that would slow you down going in via the Duck Pond but you can get out there ok.

Got a "You're keen" comment from a WR rider. I think he wasn't expecting someone up there on road tyres
