Jeez, hope you get better soon

I'm still trying to figure out what's wrong with the bike. Later yesterday the bike didn't start at all, it may be fuel pump related ...

Ugh, not good... hope you heal up quick.
Ask Mandy to get you some Monty Python DVDs, to cheer you up and help keep your mind off the ribs

Ow. If you recall, my last trip up Odlins to the hut ended up with cracked or broken ribs. As usual I did not determine it was more than just severe bruising until late in the evening, waking up feeling sick, so I got to sit around in A+E until about 0500.
My doctor's advice was to simply stop breathing for about three days and the lack of movement would allow the ribs to knit. Stay breathing and we are talking a month or two...............

As I recall somebody that ride went way up a bank and got stuck (what goes up does not always come down, immediately).

End of that track looking a bit more challenging now.

Sh*t doesn't just "happen". There is always an a*sehole involved.

Welcome to the world of pain, nothing a few months wont fix, actually those broken ribs hurt like sh-t for a few weeks before they start to get better even now I still feel mine. I said I would stay off the bike for 6 months so only a couple more to go.
Take it easy and get well soon

I had Mandy with me & she was set to give them a bit of a gee-up. But I'd noticed that it didn't get anyone anywhere faster. I probably should have said I was having issues breathing...

My physchologist has been counselling about following certain religious fixations. I think I'd prefer to keep breathing.

Thats pretty good. Not quite Hobbit-like in duration, but the title effects are ok
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

I agree. Just imagine the slow motion effects that you could've had, if you'd been there for Steve's attempt at getting some air (with his airhead)

Attack on Sutherlands Track / CNut Hill

This Saturday 5th Jan, meet at Tui's at Martinborough Square at 10.00am. See Bart's earlier thread.

The track into Sutherlands Hutt has some moderate challenges. Cnut Hill is really for more experienced riders with good tyres or skills (pick one).
