It's called 'the south Island Kiwi Biker Rally'
with over 100 rallys under my belt same and only once was there any trouble and that was the Hokanui early 90's where they alowed patchs... never done a north Is rally (cept for hog, guzzi, buell) but Im thinking with the larger gang population they would have more issues than us down erI've never felt unsafe @ a Biker Rally.

The Kumeu Swap Meet (North Islands biggest vehicle show/swap meet etc) has banned motorcycles from the dispalys this year - allegedly the Big Red Machine crew (or similar) were flaunting their stuff and cuasing alarm to other punters last year so the easy fix was to ban ALL motorcycle displays.
BTW: Reason for banning is unconfirmed but there IS a ban.

Not able to do the Sulphur one sadly. Same w/e NZ Motocross Grand Prix is run in Woodville. And as my sons driver, mechanic, sponsor, first aide, feeder, pit crew and so on, I need to be there.
