Missing/ surging a little. May have been some bad fuel from one of the back block petrol stations down on the dusty butt. About to change the plugs before i muck round with the carb.

Mind if I tag along today. I'm on an F650GS running road tyres (TKC80's are in Turangi ). If I'm slowing down the rest of you I can peel off the group and do my own ride.

Was a good ride out to Cape Palliser today. Very relaxed, 9 riders in total.

Checked out the end of Avro Road yesterday, thanks denefoster for the tip. There's a big 'no entry' sign on the gate but a big enough 'go around' track to suggest no one pays any attention. Looks like quad bikes had been there recently judging by the amount of fresh, closer together skid marks there were on practically every corner. Met a nice guy and his kid going for a ride too. All in all, a nice spot for some dirt practice.
