Sunday is good for me.
Can add Panic Mac in and then down into Tap and Tadmor?
Or that valley off the end of Sunday Creek we ended up coming out of when we missed the Panic Mac turn. Nice climb back up from there...

So are we talking about big bike with bald back tyre or lil noisy bikes with soft knobblies? Woodman what are you running?

I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........
Wherever we go, I'll be on the TT as the DR has carb float/float needle and fuel tap leaks
The TT will be wearing 705's.
yeah but it hasn't rained today & if it holds off tomm the laidback may be quite cool. If I go to the laidback it would be with soft knobs tho hence the hesitation to do any road miles with the soft rear on - if you can understand any of that.![]()

Forecast actually looks good for the laidback now.
Decisions, decisions, decisions...
Oh, I also downloaded a cool app for the phone today.
iPie.
Shows you the closest 5 pie shops![]()
Ok my plan is to do the laidback on the DRZ. i will prob be trailering with Steve & his Wr.
I will be leaving here around 830ish. if you guys are coming I can bring gear with me in car if needbe.
Wheeled the DRZ out & started it for the first time in months. gas is pissing out of the carb somewhere. i had a looksie & looks to be leaking above the gasket but couldn't see what it is coming out of. i'll just keep the tap turned off when stopped & take extra fuel. i hate working on these fricking carbs after the BMW where they are stuck out in the wings.
Luckily when I took the tank off i noticed the throttle sensor was loose & fell off so i tightened that back. i tried testing the resistance as per the manual but couldn't see any change - I'll take it for a ride down the driveway & see if it's ok. better than doing the lawns
frick me it's loud. if I decide to keep it after this winter I will def have to find a stock pipe (cheap, very very cheap

Well, today I found that trials tyres have more grip than 705's. Who would have thought?
Only thing is, I need a 13t front to get the gearing low enough, but that'll let the chain chew through the swingarm slider...
The link track I've been trying to find doesn't really exist anymore.
I tried walking a little of it but the windfall and regrowth is too extreme.
The red line is from last week, and the blue line is today.
I did find some cool old tracks in the process though. Spent about half an hour cutting branches/gorse/trees out of the way to make them navigable.
Better go out and put the 15t on the TT for tomorrow...
Leaving the trials tyres on. Just geared it up for the liaison section and will gear it back down for the special...
Will head off about 8:31...
Bloody daylight savings...
Were the sparrows still farting when you got up![]()

Just had a phone call...
"Ki-ora bro, is it at the same place in Lamb Valley?"
Nope, new track in Tadmor.
"Where's that?"
Through Tap and left over the brid...
"Oh fcuk, the bike's fallen over! Gotta go!"
Weird, wonder who that could have been?
