I have explored pretty much all avenues. Having nearly died five times in my adult life and with a hospital file you could use as a step stool there is not much I haven't experienced. I still use meditation and relaxation techniques among a range of coping mechanisms for pain and other symptoms of my illness.

Good point (damn, I hate agreeing with katman), my old flatmate was an expert at getting whatever he wanted out of his GP, through him I experienced all of the most intense highs of my life, he introduced me to codiene, morphene, diazepam, dexamphetemine, triazepam, valium, oxycontin and plenty if other drugs I can't remember, all of which had a far stronger effect than cannabis, a couple of these I took over long periods (codiene, to relieve pain and valium to relieve insomnia) and found long term use had some pretty bad downsides, on the other hand weed did the job of both these drugs, with no apparent side effects over an extremely long period and with far less withdrawl than the others. Every stoner knows what it's like not to be able to find weed, doesn't matter how connected you are, it just happens sometimes and it's not that big of a deal.

We can still see you peeking Ed.
It's ok - you can go to sleep.
We'll still be here in the morning.
Works quite well for me, you gotta get the good ones though 30mg or more. In NZ doctors seem to prefer to give out the 7mg pills (15mg panadiene is avaliable over the counter in Australia) which require taking atleast 6 to get the job done, not recommended due to the fact they all have 500mg of paracetamol in them, which tends to play havok on my kidneys too and my research suggests the liver as well.

Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.
