My 2008 Yamaha R1 was stolen on 21/04/2013 (Sunday evening) by Kennedy O'Conner Williams.

The bike was listed on TradeMe and Williams came over to look at the bike. He said he was keen, said he had to go and arrange the cash and trailer for pick up, came back a few hours later and took off with the bike when he was testing it around our culdesac. He had no helmet, no riding gear. He even gave us is driver's licence details and full name.

He was caught by the police about an hour later in a car with 3 other people but there was no sign of the bike.

He is well known to the police and is associated with P in the Hamilton area, as well as links in Tauranga, Rotorua and Auckland. We know what address he is registered to, and some of the address his mates live at.
We think that he has had a debt to pay and he has arranged the bike as payment. There's no way in hell he will tell the Police where the bike is...he knows his treatment at the courts or in prison will be much better than getting the shit beaten out of him by the guy he owes. The bike is probably stripped into a million pieces by ow but please keep a lookout for it or any parts you find for sal
Rego is A9KCB, bike is gloss black and has a QMOTO on the bottom of the right faring.

I wouldn't bother getting your hands dirty. You may know his/their address but they sure as hell know yours. Retribution won't get your money or bike back. If you're insured...put it down to experience. If you're not insured...erm...well many of us have been there. Put it down to experience.

No doubt they'll get the usual slap on the wrist from our judiciary....if they're even charged. No wonder the cops get frustrated.
