Well I did the woodhill family fun ride today. Epic. You should really do it. There is another in a couple of months. Brilliant riding in not cut up trails.

There was heaps of first time riders, kids, newb teenagers.

Its very cool following the kids on 50s having so much fun.

You did better than me then.... I was shattered after a couple of hours, both hands blistered, sprained left thumb (again) and I proved yet again that I'm not an expert when I looped the bike on a short vertical bank (ouch). Today I can walk barely, what's this fitness you are talking of?

regualr riding is your best bet, hard in aucks when you gotta trailer to woodhill or a track but its the best way..and do all the
trailrides you can get to. after 100km or so trail blast you feel massively beaten up the next day hehe

when's the next most similar kind of ride? had a look on silver bullet and can't find any?
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

I believe its 2 months. I will ask, a mate sets up the green (noob) course. He custom made the last one for me.

Dont stress about it. The green track is great. And only noobs/young riders are allowed on it. If fast riders get on it they are kicked off.

It was my first trail ride and it got me hooked. There is no pressure. The green is about 8ks long. If you get more confident then the yellow is the next step up.

I just wish I had more opportunity to practice, all gets very expensive going to tracks, fuel (car aswell!), maintenance, entry fees etc. would be cool if I lived on a farm I could go out on my bike all the time and practice?!
