Don't burn too many bridges here, one day you might just need one of us out there on the road, in a situation beyond your control.

I mean I'll still stop for you now, but it'll be to laugh my arse off before carrying on.

Yea some people will always disagree with others and some people will think of others as dicks etc. But the biggest dick move would be leaving someone stranded when you could help.
    True.

Once I get home, I'll call her a waaambulance.

The least you could do is stop and adjust her brake. Maybe fiddle with the choke a bit. Then you'll probably get blamed for wearing out the front sprocket.
    Keep on chooglin'

Yes my attitude towards learning to maintain my own bike, learning road craft (even so far as to have spent hundreds of dollars on lessons) , surrounding myself with level headed good sort bikers and having very much a conservative riding style is going to make me a statistic stop being a bully, I don't have to agree with you, grow up, I don't even have to be nice to you and shock horror, it's not going make me a statistic just because I don't agree with someone.

Should be fine, sprockets are fairly new.

Well that's the first time I've ever had to put someone on ignore

Look we don't all have to hold hands and agree with each other but to red rep me, post in this thread, message me privately on here several times then track me down on Gaybook where you pretty much repeat the same crap you've already said is pretty obsessive and freaking weird. Some of you need to get a life, seriously. Suggest that if a bloke named Iain tries to add you to Freakbook, BLOCK/IGNORE. Lay off the turps and find another hobby that doesn't involve harassing young women on the internet. Not cool.

    How do you define "young"?

    That would be me. Yawn.

I bumped into your facebook and thought I'd share some thoughts.

If it makes you feel better Doug, judging by his photos you are by far the better looking man.

Me neither.... Anyhoo, can't we all just get along? All the lady wanted was help with her bike, to those happy to provide it, to the rest.

Lots of good stuff about valves and chokes and cables and maintaining consumables (or was that consuming maintainables??), top stuff for the "general maintenance" section I'd have thought.

Too easy to misinterpret the written word, probably how a few wars got started back in the day.
Moe: Well, I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt. I mean not that fancy store bought dirt. That stuffs loaded with nutrients. I...I can't compete with that stuff.
