yep, but if you want a good deal on an XRR then Buddha's is the way to go, anyway, who can ride two bikes at once?

Question for youz guys.
I've put my XR back to dirt trim before i blow the poor thing up as a 'tard.
Has anybody tried 13/45 gearing?
I"ve got 15/45 and 14/45 but I'm looking for something to compensate for my total and utter lack of talent when it comes to climbing hills. It seems the 13 tooth front sprocket is available but chain slider might cop a fair bit.
I use 13/48 for trailrides...14/48 for adventure rides and 15/45 for Motard...all work fine on same chain length...never had any issues...I've read that using the smaller front sprocket will wear the chain faster given it has a tighter radius to turn but who knows or cares!

Awesome, thanks for your input Matt. Looking at the rear sprocket i thought i was pushing it to get a 48 rear on there. What's it like at highway speed with the 13/48? Will it do 100k without stressing things too much?
I assume by the same chain length you mean 120 links?

never seen one of these before, bloody ugly if you ask me.... but I reckon the headlight fairing and dash would look the biz on a 600 or 650L

yeh mate agree but still a tidy XR, not a lot of bling for $$$, but then i'd rather that for the price than this http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-659004718.htm
i think if i was comfortably wealthy the price of an XR wouldnt worry me and the stable would be full of them , but i aint and the sheds emptySome of these sellers are just so unrealistic with there prices in this economy, that 650 was on there last year too me thinks

mattsdakar is ready to sell his XR650 if anyone is interested.
He asked me to let people know as his internet connection is lost at this time.
You'll likely see it on TM when he gets a chance to list it if no one get's in touch before.
Sorry I don't know much more about it than has been posted by him here already.
He's switched to a blue bike.
