In summary: American Imperialism is still on track.
20 years of trying to get a free trade deal with them......& nothing.
Why do we need a deal with them? Wouldn't the billion odd people in the region be simply better off without them & just get on with it with the others who generally seem to be in agreement ?
Fuck 'em...Im sick of the fucking cnuts dictating.
If you're aware of the dramatic difference in the cost and accesibility of medicine between NZ and the US you'll recognise one of the main drivers of that in #2.
And the US knows it. They were here in droves a couple of years ago trying to analyse our ACC spend, with the intent of doing a wee copy/paste for Obama-care.
Our health system cops a PR hiding fairly regularly, especially the ACC provisions, but I wonder how many Kiwis realise how good we've got it.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon

The DHS has also targeted “virtual currency platforms and the network of virtual currency exchange makers,” de Vallance added. Earlier this year, the DHS seized about $5 million in bank accounts belonging to the world’s largest bitcoin exchange, Mt. Gox. Since then, the exchange has found itself shunned by much of the international banking community, and it has had difficulty moving money to its U.S. customers.

Well come on. We've had a bit of a meltdown recently and as such we should be waiting until we're stable before we allow another currency into the currency marketplace. Best leave it as a monopoly for the time being. As you say, we have the FED.
We could maybe do with a few more 111 call centre staff and not the opposite. That'll reflect well on the operational budget.

So diddly squat is worth a train trip at least...
