    The Desmosedici d16rr is comparible to things like the Honda NR750 etc, which was a proper race based engine unit that the turned into a limited production road bike. The NR fell flat when was released , but are worth shedloads now.
    No other L twin Duke compares really as the twins have a large amount of common share parts and the drivetrain is used across a wide range of models.
    So are they collectable ?, - IMO Yep, and Ducati italy say that there are 920 of these units left in the world from the original 1500 built

    Factory register says, they were lost to wrecks / write offs, New ones that were parted out, Fire and some stolen and wherabouts "unknown"
