See arses doing worse than that on the road every weekend - except they tend to be cutting off cars or campervans - in Christchurch when you get bored with fucking up track days you can advance to the Akaroa GP.......

The only thing 'safer' about a track day is thee are no cars about or lamp posts to run into, there is still that arse on the other motorcycle to contend with, and as per usual your own ability of course!!!

This thread is another reason I hate those gro-pro things. Give it 10 years and every c#*t walking down the street will have one embedded in their eyewear and the net will be full of posts about someone picking their nose or scratching their arse in public.

I'm sorry to say this, but blue leathers was also my first choice. Another good reason for only passing on the inside on the corner exit, not entry... at a trackday of course.... racing is another story.

Well said. Keep your wits about you and enjoy the day. Agreed as in others are out to enjoy also. Like has been said many times, its not a race its just time to enjoy a faster than normal day on ya bike.

Slightly related/unrelated note. Are there track (crawl) days for total noobs? By that I mean a bunch of beginners, zero track experience, L plates and 250's? Don't want to go to a mixed event and end up in the way. Gotta start somewhere, right?

Yes. You can't get in the way in the slow groups.

ART days are prefect for it. 15 March is the next one.

Yup what spokes said, I might try that Art Day if I have the $$ maybe group 2 this time.
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.

Ha....well I picked that it was going to be that guy that crashed from the start. His lines were anything but smooth. He appeared to tip in, sit up a little and then re-tip many times. I'm not surprised he crashed. Lines were all over the show.

Seriously mate...go slow group, it is usually very tame and learner friendly IMO.
