I must admit one thing that I wondered even as 9/11 was still fresh on the reporters lips that year, the genuine lack of aircraft bits at the Pentagon. Gotta admit that that bit smells a bit. Don't get me wrong, i am not buying the spoken party line hook line and sinker, it is just that some of the conspiracy theories that I have come across just are too strange to make sense. Maybe it is me and my naivety, but I can't see how the US Government would allow such an act to occur if they knew about it, let alone orchestrated it. Surely they cannot have seen any good coming from it?

There are none, because the "official line brigade" have taken them all away and prevented you from viewing them!

The growing list of well qualified experts in every field are making more and more noise about it but are being blocked at every avenue!

The harder you try to find contestable information the stronger the resistance! Flooding the internet media etc with disinformation - false conspiracy theories etc.

The people involved in blocking eliminating or distorting begin to take on an overwhelming Zionist flavour! (Who owns and controls world media?)

The main players also begin to take on a clear Zionist flavour! (ownership and insurance benefits from the buildings)

The loudest claims of who was responsible in the official line has a distinct Zionist flavour! _ I.E. It was the "Arabs" of any persuasion! - "Terrorists"! Media bias?

The resulting wars are driven by a heavy Zionist beneficial (Israeli) flavour - I.E. destablisation of Middle Eastern countries surrounding Israel!

The supposed Iran nuclear threat!

AIPAC and other Zionist lobby groups were losing their dedication and commitment toward the USA Israel special relationship from American Jews.

The desire for there to be another "Pearl Harbour event" to bolster up the flagging American and Western world countries to wage to war! - Was it 9/11?

Now (especially with the benefit of hindsight) when ask the question 9/11 who benefited most from it? _ Well - simply make up your own minds!

I too think that the official line smells but more than just a bit!

Without (exorbitant) American taxpayer funding how could a country the size of Israel become so powerful and influential as it is today?

Even more serious a question - does the average American taxpayer even know about it?

But the "War on Terror" has cost them an absolute fortune. It partly galvanised the country (US) for a short period, but now even that has/is fragmenting it would seem. I don't buy the whole war for profiteering thing. maybe other "control" and "command" reasons...but not profiteering. I also just don't think that there is anyone in power in the USA that would have the balls to use force, or be behind the use of force against their own citizens. Not to that scale. I respect your view and you clearly can assert your position well, but I strongly disagree (on so many points that I think you and I could probably create a book on the length that thread would run to!) regarding those sentiments regarding Israel, as strongly as you probably support them. I do have the interest and inclination to debate this one...I just honestly don't have the time for all of this keyboard fighting! As one of the nasty capitalists of this country, I do have 3 companies to try and run. On this one, we will just have to agree to disagree.
