Same as the other posters, Is the charger charging and if so is the battery ok ? Either or ?
I trickle charge my bike each week to keep it charged.I'm too old to fuck about, pushing fucking motorbikes.
A good battery is important for these modern bikes.

You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

can someone,(a garage) put a meter on the battery for ya ?
    Might save buying a battery?
Can the charger be checked at the same time ?

The reason I ask is after watching the you tube clips and reading several reviews it seems the units primary function is to provide cranking amp and voltage for starting a vehicle then leaving connected for up to next 30 secs lets the vehicle alternator take over.

It seems the charging function is more aimed at laptops and phones where sustained current draw to charge is very low.

I could be wrong but I cant see it charging a flat vehicle battery
Contacting the tech advise would confirm this.

Use a car battery disconnected from your car with jumper leads to start bike(or your unit if its still working). Once started disconnect jumpers and measure voltage at bike battery. Should be around 12.5 at idle and over 13volts at 3k revs. That will tell you if your alternator and regulator in the bike are working.
If good remove battery and take it to battery shop or put it on a recovery charger unit to see if its good.

That's what I have. Seems ok and shows you a bit of battery information as its charging. Comes with a plug unit you can install onto bike for easy connection. It wont jump start your bike when the battery is flat though its only functions are charging and maintaining battery.

Have you got a voltmeter? if so, push start the ike and check what voltage the battery is at when running; report back.

If not, go find a voltmeter and see above.

    Called AA

alright. so i called AA just to see what they think. I really am desperate and need to get it going by friday.
The AA guy hooked his battery charger to the bike and the bike did the same thing. it turns the engine but no fire or no ignition. (same as when i charged with my little charger)
Then he sprayed the air intake (by the air filter) with CRC engine strat (25% ether) and hooked the battery back on and it fired for a milli second or so. It was definetly going.
So he is thinking for some reason the bike is not getting any fuel. I am thinking Glenn from Just fairings unhooked some fuel connection to the bike. It has been behaving like this only after Just fairings worked on it. It pushed started before I took it just fairings.

    Any thoughts now?
