BTSport commentary is comedy gold sometimes. Julian Ryder & Keith Huewen at the start of FP3...

KH - So we're live with everything here from the Circuit de Catalunya... Circuit de Barcelona-slash-Catalunya...

JR - When did they do that? That's a recent one.

KH - Again, it's a political thing probably as much as anything, isn't it? The regions in Spain.

JR - Oh, the politics of that Keith are well avoided.

KH - Yeah we're not used to that in England, really are we? Or Britain, I should say

JR - Unless you're from Yorkshire. Or Scotland. Northern Ireland.. or Wales... And indeed nowadays, England.

KH - Aaah, England, um.... Speaking as an Englishman I'm quite happy with our lot. I'm quite happy to be called British.

    JR - Snap.

There's also been a running joke all season so far that JR has a fiver on the fact that the factory ducatis will keep their winglets all year.

Good to see another manufacturer up there.
Suzuki on soft tyres Grrrr although they did say they went good on race hards as well. They just got a 4-5mph engine upgrade, track really suits their bike.

MM back up there but not 1/2 sec ahead. Dovi up there to and Vale made it to 7th after nearly missing .
Now this should be a good race if the Suzuki's can keep that form on race setup/rubber
Iannone would like to have done better I think.

On a Motorcycle you're penetrating distance, right along with the machine!! In a car you're just a spectator, the windshields like a TV!!

Would love to see the suzukis get ahead of Lorenzo for a lap or two to let Rossi, MM, Dovi and Pedro bunch up on him. Will be all on then If Lorenzo holeshots it will be done and dusted

Moneywise I have Dovi for a win (paying $10), Vinales for a podium (paying $12), Aleix for a podium (paying $7).

I figure even if the Yamahas disappear, the Suzis have got to have a chance at a podium.

David Emmett of Motomatters, who is as aware of what's what as most pundits, picks JL, VR, Esp A. It would seem he too thinks Suzuki have a shot at the podium.

Me? I'm not picking anybody cause that'll probably be enough to wreck their chances. Not long now.

Yamaha must surely be odds on for riders & constructors......

May be that Marks "B" in his plan B, stands for something you chuck your shit into...
