I think it looks very similar to a Honda NX4 it may just be a co-incidence of course.

Sadly I am a person who finds it hard to do anything but my own work, Like Jesse Ventura says on Predator "I aint got time to read" (or did he say bleed...). That is one of my failings, however, you do get to appreciate that whatever you do, rises and falls on your efforts.

I had 80 bottle top openers to give away to the good bastards at the 2015 Bucket Grand Prix, sorry, all gone...

The final porting will happen in the next few days that will soften the lines and blend it all back to the donor crankcase. Am happy to say that the curved fingers slipped in beautifully with just a heating of the support plate, and freezing the barrel ever so slightly. Once pushed together I have bolted the whole arrangement up tight as it shrunk fit into place. About 2 hundredths interference fit.

    No pressure on Dad now...

I'm not a fan of those flappy inlet things, but I guess I should be grateful you're not buying up what's left of the KE stock. Will be good to see another Kawasaki hybrid out there.
It certainly has wide spread mounting studs

If you look halfway down page 75 (phew, that's a long time ago), you will see my old five fingered friend of a plate that has been successfully melded to the rest of the barrel. Creating the curved intake ports.

Some more blending and Dad gets to screw it up, I mean face it up...

    And it's running very well!!

Gutting day, FXR motor deal fell through - apparently a verbal sale agreement means nothing.

I hope whom ever in the South Island that have just purchased a FXR motor (from the north island) didn't pay too much for it...
