First port of call i reckon. Also if you download cone layout it will give you the printable pattern. Then at least you can design the pipe for the exhaust duration you have.

Good to see strong progress on the smokers! If you want to be rough about it, you could try adding length and/or reducing length from the header of your pipe. This will likely correct/minimise some of the mismatch but it's a compromise over true potential power. A pipe built for the cylinder and purpose is the best way clearly.
Lol before the invention of the 2T expansion chamber by limbachand when two stroke trucks where the norm the length of the pipe is how you 'tuned' the engine.
When you bought a new 2t truck from the shop the asked what type of driving or terrain you operated on normally they cut the pipe to suit tuning it to your needs....Crazy stuff.
Have the pipe here to try, do you nred the manifold?
