You do wonder why he bought the paddock stand also. Guessing it was for the looks rather than to do his own work on it

Seems reasonable to me. Only $500 more than new with some pretty cool parts on it. Desperately needs a tail tidy though. If you offered him $10,500 he would be silly to not accept it. But then again why would you spend that sort of money on a LAMs bike.

To be fair, he does say:

I have all the original parts and if there is any concern whether the Yoshimura upgrade might affect the LAMs status of the bike, the OEM exhaust is available for those still on learners and restricted licences.
The rest of the upgrades are pretty much cosmetic only - I doubt anyone would seriously say that aftermarket Levers and Frame sliders alter the Power/Weight...

At a couple grand less though, this bike would be a Steal, where it is currently, a Tad overpriced maybe.

Except that generally in this country - and on KB - the mods that generate excitement tend to be cheap. This dude, a man of greater taste and discernment than most, has put some really classy items on his bike. It would seem though that he has made the mistake of thinking he can add the cost of his mods to the basic selling price of the bike. That doesn't work.

Better perhaps that he should strip all the nice bits and sell them separately then sell the bike as standard?

You can check what some of his accessories go for here: http://www.gillestooling.de/

Better that he should take the farkles off, drop the price $2g, recover $500 on his fruity extras and accept that you can't sell a second hand bike for new bike money.

Better he should sell the bike and never buy another as bikes are for riding, not looking at.

Discussing the most pivotal event in recent world history is rather more important than wanking on about someone asking $1000 more for a bike than someone else thinks it's worth.

But then again, I probably shouldn't expect you to manage to figure that out.

I wasn't being mean, just saying. There is a universally accepted of the version of events of 911, (which incidentally is becoming a very long time ago now) you guys just want it to be something far more interesting & exciting. I personally couldn't care less how it came about.

No, I just want to find out the truth and I don't think we've been told it yet.
