It looks like dinner is sorted, you'll have it all done tonight ? Plenty of time to be run in ( up and down the street after dark haha) before next organized trail ride. Excellent

Ready to go except for a one hose clip and a radiator cap which I seem to have misplaced

Being an aircooled IT200 I think that is unlikely

I still need to get them down from Blenheim though so might still be a couple of weeks or so before I have them

This is what I was referring to, but I'm guessing you managed to flick the other RMX (the manky one)

Right, up and running hopefully the rain will clear for a bit an I can give it a run tomorrow, then go and smash the Lads at the Waimak on Sunday

Bloody excellent. Forecast for tomorrow says it's supposed to improve, Sunday not great either. Riding in the rain is fun. If you still have those worn tyres on it'll be even more fun.

New Bridgestone X30 rear but I haven't done the front yet

Of all the front tyres I've had, the Pirelli MX extra X is easily the best, (my favorite) and they last well. Most shop's sell them, they're popular. Reasonable cost.

I had already fitted a Bridgestone X30 rear so I got the same front, Avon city are doing them at $90

Just need to unload the sidecar so it'll fit in the van and go give it a run

So it goes ok, bottom end and mid range are ok but doesn't feel like it has the topend hit it should which was why it was originally pulled down

Feels like a jetting problem, the guys reckon a 38/39mm PWK off a KX250 sorts them out as the stock carbs are a bit crap

Problem I've found is this model doesn't seem to have come to NZ and specs seem to be a bit hard to find

Would your mate that has the not so manky one, lend you the carb off it just to try. It might help send you in the right direction. Also try swapping CDI. They can play tricks

    Different years/carbs/engines

Got on ebay and I ordered a new 38mm PWK Airstriker for it, fuck knows if it'll fix it but it made me feel better anyway
