90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...

Haha it's not me thats a dottery old bugger.
That was "conway coast" trail ride, which was bloody awesome. Shame Pete.
I've never done this ride "conway hills. Someone we all know and trust did it last year (winter) and wasn't impressed. His words were "A long way to travel to ride on bulldozed tracks" And probably wouldnt do it again. He also wasn't impressed with the Enduro deviations.

It's ok, we did it last year with the grandson on his TTR 50, he was six and coped well enough. It was wet and muddy, a lot of people arrived poorly prepared and struggled with lack of traction even though it was a lot of tracks it was an enjoyable day

I've done conway hills the past two years, yea it's a bit boring, that and my mate on his 450 just leaves me like Im standing still on this ride.
Big long easy (boring) climbs around the hills, with GREAT views!
Last year, at least it was covered in snow at the top, and that 10 mins was kind of cool.
sounds like I shouldn't bother either....

It wasn't the ride I've previously done, this one we turned left before the overbridge and went about 1km beside the railway tracks to the start, the last one I did years ago we started at the old Conway School out by the coast
40km loops and probably 90% farm tracks
I wasn't really feeling the love for it after loop one but when we sped it up a bit on loop 2 it became more fun, dropped it 25km in and broke the clutch which meant 15km riding back without it
It was an ok ride but I wouldn't drive that far to do it again

Might find some barkbusters before the next one
Thanks for the photos and for what you thought of the track. Confirmed what I was told.
I might do the peaks trail ride on the 7th August and then dalethorpe on 21st. See how fit I'm feeling

I enjoyed it, as a novice trail rider. A bit the same, I guess. The mate I was riding with did the enduro diversions and they made the ride for him. Great weather!
