I take umbrage with your notion of 'yet' - There's been plans for a proper Rail network since the 1920's..... And they've always been sidelined as 'Too Expensive'....

Infrastructure. Who the fuck needs it.

We've got far too many poor children in NZ to be bothering with that shit.

So you've got fuck all. As usual.

How hard can it be? If you've got a valid reason to whine about shit then if you don't clearly define the problem and produce a coherent argument against it you can expect to be called out on it. Even here.

I mean here you don't even have to offer an alternative, in Stupid World it's understood that the result of any effort whatsoever is automatically met with summary dismissal and illiterate howls of derision, and you're not expected to submit to that. Heaven forbid.

Yes, but you don't want it spread too thinly. I am all for large scale shit like they do overseas. NZ doesn't do monuments very well.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

I see what you tried to do there.

Yup, but not in the way you think.

Given that the "poor" spend all of their income, even if you spread it thinly and on the poor only, it'll get back into the community and the economic wheels will turn etc... NZ likely can't afford monuments given the size of its population, hence we end up with walkways and cyclepaths as monuments to those who shout the loudest as they realise that seeing something shiny is more important than something that helps communities in general. Meh, wotcha gonna do when all the eggs are thrown into one basket instead of a few baskets.
    I didn't think!!! I experimented!!!

Might take a while until NZ does monumental

The Japanese have managed to wipe out half of the world's oceans ( I heard the other day something like , there should be 2000 forms life in the average rock pool in Canada / Alaska .. there is 14 ....on average .. Fukushima fked that up )

The most monumental fk up I've seen in NZ ... Was the tea ... Half fking milk in the damn thing

I like it when the guy buying stuff and the guy selling it decide what the stuff's worth.

You like some undisclosed other party deciding who pays who for what, and how much.

So unless you've changed your mind about that then my take on your problem is pretty much right on the money.
