Fuel costs? Mmmm, around 10 cents per kilometer. Tyre costs? About the same. Insurance? Around 6 cents on my annual mileage. Rego? Around 6 cents as well. Servicing? Depends how much I do myself, but around 6 or 7 cents.
Makes my little runabout car seem a bargain at around 25 cents per km all up...nowhere near as cool as the bike mind you.
at 160km round trip my XT660R would do close to 3 round trips to a tank "22 liters"
21/22 kilometers per liter.... toss some slower offroad stuff in that goes up to 23/24km per liter
can do each day of the Dusty Butt on a tank..

My Suzuki AN400 scooter would use about 6L to go 160km. It does about 25km/L on a run. Sometimes a bit better. That would be about $11 or $12.
