Watched that did you....see what was sitting in the background the majority of the show as they were talking in his garagetype 35B Bugatti

Funny how they talked about the Ferrari though, brought for 40 thou in the 70s sold to fund the momentary lapse of reason tour and then he brought it back
Amusing when the go for a drive was offered to Brian....he was all hell yeah and then Nick says as long as I drivethen here they are screaming along in it yapping to each other and neither wearing the seat belts

Don't you look at my accountant.

Should have left it on the junk pile

Really? A bad investment of money ok we've all done that. But recognise what something is likely worth when cutting your losses not just what you spent.

I've thought about this over the years and reckon I have it pegged. On a fast bike, accelerating hard and fast you are also very exposed - picture yourself riding a missile. In a car, you have a illusion of a degree of security being fully caged.
Of course both are fine until shit happens.

Not at that price mate.Be quick it will be gone fast!
If it was the very first model T Ford I'd say - yeah, maybe worth 40 mill (NZ) Anything else. Nah.
Which makes me wonder - just what is the most expensive collectible item in the world? Hand written original bible? Jesus's loin strap? Riding training with Cassisa?
Neighbour had one, not pristine but close. Dunno what the family got for it when he died, under $10k anyway.
The thing about cars that age is understanding that they were built in that special era between tradesmen and hand tools and labourers and production machinery: Cheap labour and hand tools.
So you tend to find that the build quality is often absolute crap. An expert, evaluating a 1935 Auburn Speedster identified it as a very good copy in seconds, the panel fit was good, the trim detail was to almost modern standards and the exhaust headers were obviously done by someone more capable than the local school shop class.
Go soothingly on the grease mud, as there lurks the skid demon
I did notice the Bugatti. And all the other Fazza's. Its not a great TV show but I sat through it....

wearing Jesus loin strap while riding Cassina? are you as turned on as I am right now?
Nothing special about a Model T ford: for the same reason Honda Cubs will always have a value ceiing: they made millions of the fucking things and they are like cockroaches - unkillable.
There were only 39 GTO's ever made.
