Just not as regularly, as with Trump it was drama every day.
Some of the US legal podcasts I listen to have concerns about the precedents being established under Trump. He has moved things on in the courts in a negative way and there's no going back. The new precedents set are now the standard and will be applied in future court cases.
The US political system worked on a system of trust, the assumption was that people wouldn't want to look bad. Some presidents pushed the boundaries. Trump has completely ignored them.
Because of the pandemic postal voting would be a safer option. Trump recently replaced the Postmaster General with a big donor to his campaign. Postal deliveries have slowed dramatically and staff are reporting that there have been instructions to slow down further. Partly presumably to manage the votes in the election, and partly to justify selling the postal service off.
Tough on people who get medication through the mail. It must have been a big donation though because the new Postmaster General's wife is to be ambassador to Canada.
The staff who work at polling places tend to be senior citizens. People in this at risk group are reluctant to make themselves available during a pandemic. The Democrats need to be awake, it has already been suggested that there be less polling places and it's not hard to guess where they'll be.
One thing the greatest nation on earth can't do is hold an honest election. They really do need UN observers.
