Slightly worryingly, it had 2 blue pipes. OE points ignition....i offered the use of a timing light to check and reset but they were booked to stop in Oamaru
and were happy to run it like that till then.
If I'd paid that much I'd have wanted sensible upgrades.

It may be that I'm lacking taste in such matters, but I'd rather have a new Z900RS with modern suspension and brakes. Even after adding an Ohlins and upgraded forks there'd still be a trailer load of cash left over.

Iv just spent a month trying to re cert a Buell that the rego lapsed 1 year and the fuckers made me take off a brembo caliper and put on a shitty HD one that is sloged out after 169K they thouhjt the gear shift was to rattley so I hade to get a letter from RT HD to say its normal prove who the owner was 10 times and hand over near a grand... yet... yet these shiters are all over the bloody show...
