So, uh, doesn't everyone who ever wanted one of these already have one? And north of $25k - really?

They have become quite reasonable as less people want them now vs. a GS1000S for example.

But it is new, so that's OK. Just.

What is it worth? I'd say if you can get it into your garage in a stormy night without the neighbour's seeing, then quickly disassemble it, that very night, spray it black with rattle can, then you can drop it off to be paint stripped and buy some more parts. Could be OK. I'd say free would be good.

If its the same basic motor as a V50 of similar era I wouldnt have one - I know someone who bought one new and it as a complete fucking lemon. I do like the new V7 850 though. I cant get over the new version of the "big" Guzzi's where they have turned the heads 90 degrees. It makes logical sense in terms of packaging inlet and exhaust, moving the induction away from your knees and so forth but it just looks off to me.

I would probably buy that AC50 for $1600 if it was closer to me

Gawd the V50s were slow, I can't fathom wanting a huge reduction of cc in same size.

The 100 is getting great reviews . Only guzzi I have ever thought " hmm if I had 30k and a bent to do some big touring miles" otherwise the brand just leave me totally cold.

Couple of our far north ulysses guys had v7’s They both hated them and moved them on quite quickly. It was poor suspension in both cases. You buy them cos you love the brand and they sound awesome and shaft drive etc but at the end of the day, if you found them uncomfortable….buyers remorse I guess.

interesting thanks. And its interesting that suspension is the weak link, and it only costs about $3500 to fix........ Its the best money you can spend on a bike though.

A V50 through the Hundalees is awesome fun, a V50 heading south from Christchurch is total shit

I don't have a bike bucket list but I reckon one day I will get a Guzzi solely so I can throw a lot of money at these guys.

    Ghezzi Brian

That and my RC30 for going to the shops on should just about cover it.

Give me an RZ350 in both instances as a much better bike in every way except probably gas mileage.

There is def no RZ350 in that price range but there was a RG250

but seeing as you have half of one with a better engine I thought you might not like one.
I thought it an okay price. although I am wondering what the white smudge is hiding????? also the front caliper ?
An elder brother of a friend of mine back when I was a teen used to have one as a daily, it used to use a tank to get to the coast from CHCH which I thought was okay.I think it was a single disc one.
