Starting to wonder if in fact Elon is going to be the president with Trunt just giving the orders. That's if Trunt doesnt accidentally disappear up Elons arse before the election!
Cannot imagine any other explanation for Elon wanting to hang around with him…

I can. IMO quite a lot of Elon's history both business and private life is dodgy.

As well as power Musks business relies strongly on US GOVT money in orders and subsidies.
He can then leverage these contracts and subsidies to further enrich himself, much like the starlink network.
This power over its users allows him to changes the course of the war in Ukraine to help Putin and other rich dicks.

SpaceX is, after all, primarily a government contractor, racking up $15.3 billion in awarded contracts between 2003-2023
Moreover, SpaceX’s business model has been working with NASA to develop space vehicles like the Falcon 9 and Dragon that it can then offer to private customers.
They aren’t the result of an entrepreneur acting alone.
SpaceX sought and is still seeking $885 million in government funding to support broadband access in rural communities.
Tesla, on the other hand, has actually benefitted from a number of outright subsidies created by the US government to encourage the development of electric vehicles to reduce carbon emissions. Notably, the auto company received a $465 million preferential loan from the US Department of Energy in 2010, which it paid off in 2013.

Through 2020, the company benefited significantly from tax credits given to consumers who buy electric cars, which have reduced the cost of Tesla vehicles by $4,000 to $7,500. One attempt to track all these subsidies, including state and local incentives to support manufacturing facilities, estimates the total benefits at nearly $3 billion.

If you compare his promises to shareholders vs what he delivers he’s very close or perhaps worse than Elizabeth Theranos who went to jail for her multi billion scam.

Founded in 2003 by then 19-year-old Elizabeth Holmes, Theranos raised more than US$700 million from venture capitalists and private investors, resulting in a $10 billion valuation at its peak in 2013 and 2014. The company claimed that it had devised blood tests that required very small amounts of blood and that could be performed rapidly and accurately, all using compact automated devices that the company had developed. These claims were proven to be false.

Steven Goebbels addressed a MAGA meeting in Arizona accusing the 'Govment' of putting Illegal Immigrants into busses and moving them across the country.

If I recall, it was Republican State Governors, particularly Abbot in Texas, doing just that!

That new thread title may be prophetic. Hopefully after Jan 20th we can forget him, apart from the ongoing prosecutions, but the historians and psychiatrists will be just starting work. Working on him and the people who believed a self-confessed sexual abuser, adjudicated rapist, convicted fraudster, traitor, and conman.

In the words of an aide Trump is "broken". That is an understatement. He has been cancelling most interviews, those he does attend are unhinged. At a recent rally the PA didn't work so he just paced back and forth for nearly fifteen minutes, not even swaying to the music this time. He didn't even attempt to speak the old fashioned way.

The material he chooses to talk about has always been weird: electric boats won't float because the batteries would be too heavy. He'd rather die of an electric shock from the battery than be attacked by a shark. Which indicates that he understands neither boats nor electricity. Hannibal Lecter? Now he's talking about the size of Arnold Palmer's dick.

His latest was a visit to McDonalds where he had the opportunity to demonstrate that he didn't understand fryers. This was an attempted dig at Harris who Trump claimed never worked at MdDonalds because it's not on her CV.

When challenged about the people eating pets he said he didn't know whether that was true or not but asked, "What about the geese?" Geese were indeed shot but the shooter was not a Haitian, it was a white guy.

The followers will require to be getting ever more creative to excuse his demonstrated failings - and their own gulliibility.

And as is so often the case with Drumpf his visit to Maccas was a stunt. The place was closed.

You'd have to check every car going through the drive thru for weapons hahaha

Yeah. They had snipers on the surrounding buildings, but he has walked into fast food outlets previously.

Of course, my comment was more about the pics taken of him serving the drive thru (to employees) rather than just the general public rolling up. I know if I made the mistake of going to McD's I wouldn't be expecting a search of both myself and my car. So I guess it makes sense to have it closed.

Par for course for most high level politicians including our own at times. Various workplaces I’ve worked have had MPs visit at times. They are always guided by management to a pathway that eliminates the chances of hard questions from Joe blogs blue collar worker.

I reckon this thread will go past 500 pages no worries. People just can’t let go. The memes will carry on and it’s an easy virtual voodoo doll for people to vent life’s frustrations til someone worse shows up. If he wins this will romp past a thousand pages….
