Is multiple bike adverts a peev?

So you've amassed 2 or 3 CX400 Euros and now you want to sell them and decide they are collectively worth a lot of money. But you don't wish to pay trademe their due. Lets sell them all together. Im sure 20 people are willing to ship two or more bikes somewhere and have the room for them and have the spare cash to buy the extras.

Why not just list one?

You can mention that you have an extra if somehow you do come across a deviant like yourself. Else sell that one, change the pictures and move onto the next.
But no. They say the want to sell them as a set limiting the market and usually refusing questions to split them up.

Occasionally I've come across someone who felt the rules applied to others rather than to themselves and I've had to listen to their excuses.
The seller's "I only know what I have been told," sounds like something they might have offered in defence of the latest breach back then.
