    this is a badly programmed site. It measures the time on mouse button release rather then press which can add quite a few ms.

    This is all very well but if you not sitting there waiting for an instruction but rather driving down the road you can probably add somewhere round 1.5 sec to that.

    Still interesting though.

    My point too.
    I don't ride with my fingers over the levers all the time as it is just too hard to do this and it is also difficult to keep a steady throttle. However, when approaching a potential hazard I finger the lever. My point is as stated by cooneyr - as that is the real situation on the road and the longer the ride and more tired the longer the reaction time.
