    1994 ZZR250 topped out in 6th at 160kmph, the second day after I got my learner license, down the motorway from Mt Roskill to the Airport. 2 days riding experience heheheheh

    This was late Jan 05.

    One could never possibly imagine ever breaking the law. But if one had performed such an act for the first time, as good a place as any may have been along Seafield Road at Bayview, astride a ZRX1200R, possibly en route to the indicated maximum.

    Unlike you Hitcher, I grew up in the Hutt Valley. It's expected there...

    For me, it was 1982. 15 years old. My mate Paul's 1971 T500 Suzuki. 492cc's of air cooled 2 stroke goodness on the straight going up to Wainuiomata Hill.

    And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

    Earlier this year on MICRO's Hayabusa. 220km down the back straight. Was fucking quick. Would I do it again? hell yeah!

    2nd bike I would have done a ton on would be the first of the RD350 also 1973. I liked that bike.

    Yeah,used to have an RD350 back then too. Particuarly like the convenient way the footpegs would fold up when cornering
