In a small place like NZ there is only so many .

Back in the mid '70's we painted a mates Triumph green.It was a dare because green is unlucky y'know.I got to choose the colour - Kelly Green,and I sprayed everything.Wheels,tyres,exhausts,engine - the only things I didn't paint were the lights and his apehangers....he was working for an electroplater at the time and there was a lot of chrome on the bike,the bars were his latest addition.

The bike was never stolen,but for years we'd find Triumph parts with a bit of green on them somewhere.Obviously it was stripped for parts,and they were easy to recognise.That may sound a tall tale to some,but you know me now eh?
