Yay for hippies!![]()
There is no such thing as bad weather; only inappropriate clothing!
Ok I see this thread going way off the track from the original question, there are various schools of though on how far a person has to go to be a Vego or Vegan, the Hare Krishna religion precludes the use of any animal products unless the animal died naturally, so in most cases leather would be out, then as Mikkel pointed out there are those who do not consider fish as a taboo flesh to eat, then there is the ultimate Vegans who throw scorn on even the Krishna's over their use of milk
It all comes down to a persons individual belief on whether leather is a product that they can use, if one went to the extreme it would not even be question as the individual would not even use modern transport.
A persons lifestyle choices no matter what they are does not increase or decrease their value, why do some folks seem to think its a big issue if one person chooses not to eat animal flesh, are they in some way harming the rest of society? I know there are the extremists out there but you pick any subject and you will find this type of activity not just eating choices.
Me I chose not to eat red meat, I eat chicken only as I am allergic to fish, I do wear leather products, in fact I carve leather as a hobby, it my personal choice.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
