They are both trained not to lick people and even when they are grooming each other if it gets excessive they can be stopped with a simple "no licking" or "thats enough".
yucky!

My mate spent $1000 getting his dog fixed when it twisted its bowels running around like it was demented. After it was home and running around the pool table, someone cracked a ball off the table and the dog chased it and swallowed it! They never did find it on the lawn so god knows what happened to it! Just imagine the dogs face as he is trying to poo it out!

He was fine suprisingly... Bit quiet but that was a small perk.. (horrible as it sounds)
Least he mellowed, and stopped his usual carry on of ripping clothes off the washing line, chewing shoes, and ripping open rubbish bags and dragging the contents through the whole house...![]()
lol, animals do the weirdest things sometimes... you gotta love them..

Our long departed first dog ate a needle and thread when he was just a pup. Survived to tell the tale but there was a bit of surgery involved.
Grow older but never grow up
A workmates Dobermann ate a corn cob, must have swallowed it pretty much in one piece. Took some expensive surgery to get that back.
Our new tonkinese kitten loves popcorn, cornflakes and peas. The older tonk only goes for the popcorn.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

Bumble bees.
My german sheperad (8 years old) is pretty adept at killing and eating them.
Not sure if bumble bees sting (or bite) but when she attacks them she seams to know to keep her lips back (so its a full on snarm when shes going for them - a big german sheperd attacking a small bee). Anyway .. thats it! :-)
Today it was blue cheese and the cracker it went on...
He is begging for more![]()
one of the cats brings in a weta each night and eats it after kids have gone to bed
Last night I roasted some pine nutes... he liked those quite a bit too!![]()
Update on the weird eating habits of our black cat (the one that eats cold asparagus and roasted capsicum). Tonight we had corn cobs, done on the bbq. Couldn't eat all mine so hubby held it for the dog to eat (he nibbles it so cute, with his lips pulled back). While dog is eating said corn, several kernels fall on the floor and black cat swoops in and vaccuums them up in the blink of an eye. Oh, same cat also ate banana muffin today as well. I think he's actually a pig in a cute little black fluffy disguise.
