i saw a large group of cruisers out there a few weekends back, they were heading south of coro as i went north, mostly harleys, but a few classics too
Saw a big group up there today, must've been 10-15 bikes there.
"I came into this game for the action, the excitement... go anywhere, travel light,... get in, get out,... wherever there's trouble, a man alone... Now they got the whole country sectioned off; you can't make a move without a form."
Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.
Noticed a bunch of Gold Wings, HD's and those funny BMW cruisers today on my way out of here to watch the classics at Puke. I'm sure those folk all did well and had a great day- several thousand Maui campervans seem to cope just fine.
Mind you- now the hols are over there are a few bald stony bits being opened up on the hill between Kopu and Tairua, so if you love your paintwork and forks, go the other way.
Yep ,we were there today ,16 of us , nz cruiser group m109s,goldwing ,vmax,
c90's and vulcuns. The loop is a easy ride really. No problems on a cruiser.Just have to get off a few times and push it around some corners

I cannot put my finger on it now, the child has grown the dream has gone
there'll be no more aaarrrrrggghhhhh but you may feel a little sick
I've pootled all round those roads on the Uberpharter. I don't know if that classes as a sports tourer (von Klunken refuses to respond to any designation other than schnell-panzer) but it's certainly *large*
Why would one suppose that crusiers or sports tourers (large or otherwise) would have any problems?
In fact, those sort of roads are exactly what tourers are built for, and they are right in their element - while sprotsbikes are not and keep complaining about the quality of the roads.
