He made it to our place without incident, apart from a puddle of oil on our gagre floor....however, he wasn't going to get any further than that without some intervention....

Had a good ride to Palmy today.

As usual Anza was full with bikers, that place must sure turn over the cash.
They had a few new Goldwings in stock, man those things are massive, and the stuff on them!
I thought riding a Triumph Rocket this week was quite a mission due to its size, but one of those Goldwings with every extra must be a real act.
They had a new compressor there, just a Dyna, but a screaming eagle one, 53000 godanged bucks!!!!

Plenty of bacon around today, especially a mufti Honda Accord, about 3 yrs old, gold/silver colour. Pulling up people on our way there and back. Fortunately we got the headlight flash warning on the return trip, so none of our cash went into Aunty Helen's going into opposition party fund. A few marked cars too.

Called into the Cudby's for a brew on the way home, nice SV, neat stubby muffler too.

I have noticed a Silver Holden vectra recently to keep an eye on if you know what i mean.

Whooo whooooo sounds like a great day was had by all yesterday. A lota bikes on the Wairoa road yesterday. I mean a lota bikes. Hope to team up with Speights_Bud and Wasp at 7 in Bay View and give the little GPX a run to Wairoa. So best I get ready. Have a good one people. Looks like another nice day in paradise…………… He said

Maybe Patangata way for lunch, followed by a leisurely cruise home up HW50.
BP Taradale Rd at 10.30?

I'm open to suggestions tho...

Hi Tart. We did thank you. The trip up was slowish cos we had to see how the GPX was going to run. It seems to be good so we picked the pace up a bit on the way home. It ran well.
Had wet roads most of the way up but no rain. Stopped at 286 for breaky. That was good and then meet Mrs Wasp on the way home. All in all it was a great ride.

I am suppose to be driving a 4x4 in the Hawkes Bay play day but I am not sure what I am going to do yet. Got the grand child here and well you know.

A HUGE thanks to you guys up there. Not only for the hospitality ("Hey I'm coming up see you in 3 hours for a bed...") but for the biker spirit.

thank-you for providing a bed, food, alcohol (keep up Zac), workshop, advice and friendship - you guys rock!! John - you get a huge one mate. Helping me get the bike sorted was outstanding! Good ride that to TGA too.

Wasp27 - How the hell am I supposed to say thank-you enough???

No drama just getting things done that need to be done. Not just the right tools for the job but the skills and genial attitude too.
G4E you get a mention too - even though you're not a huggy kinda guy, you always let me grapple with ya - much love big guy.

Every time I've been up there, it feels like you guys are family. It makes a huge difference knowing there are people like you that I respect and can rely on. HB crew ROCK!!

Ride leaving from BP Taradale Rd. Meet there at 10.30 ish. Taradale Rd is the one off the expressway at the second roundabout Whytey, hang a left there, servo is just down the road on the left.
Look forward to meeting you. Anyone else coming??

Always good to see you Col, although having you leap on our bed at sparrow fart like some overgrown demented 4 y/o , we could do without!
Don't forget thet your bike has a maintenance schedule...and you need to stick to it!

Am kinda keen for a ride but, 10.30 is a bit early for me, got some things to do around the place, and can't forsee getting out till maybe 1ish, and then might head off HW50, possibly thru to Patangata, dunno......kinda open at this time....

Aye thanks for the mention Cola but I didn’t do anything. I was drinking W’s tea. Just happened to be there. Them other H/B Riders rock for sure.

Oooops 10.30. That’s now………….. So I will not make that one.

Might just wing it I think
