Get used to it. My mum is a high school PE teacher, and last time I was up visiting I had the pleasure of looking at some of the assignments she was marking. The younger kids (lower streams especially) have no regard for correct grammar. It just doesnt register as important to them. Worst of all, its becoming so prevalent that its being tolerated.

That's why it's time to speak up and make a stand. The end result will be a population of grunting neanderthals with a working vocabulary of about 500 words, none of which they know how to spell.

And it's not too hard. If I can learn English, anybody can.

Bleh, you're so old it wont happen until after your time. Then you can just sit back and watch the grunting neanderthals knowing that you were superior.....

Petrol drive-offs cost the oil companies less than shoplifting in the Warehouse. The last time you had to prepay at the Warehouse was when?
Im fecked if Im ever going to those tards (mobil). I just drive into my loal BP, someone allways comes out when they see my car with the wheelchair on the roof. They fill me up and ask if I want anything else and I hand over the cash. The whole time I stay in my car and dont have to piss around getting into my chair, not that there is enough room to get the wheelchair off the roof and beside my car to do things myself. I cannot imagine mobil being able to offer that kind of customer support/satisfaction...

    mobil!!!!

Of course, by that time the neanderthals will be 'old', and will have figured out that the OldOnes were right. But will it be too late??? Sure, the books are all there, but will they have lapsed into disuse and no longer understood?
See, the strange thing about (written) language is that it has rules of grammar, punctuation and spelling in order to be precise and understood by all. Ignoring the rules invites chaos in terms of understanding (in extreme cases, admittedly).
Whilst phonetic spelling 'sounds' appealing, the truth is some words may be written in so many ways that the originator's intent is lost.
And don't get us started on apostrophes.....
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Punctuation would greatly enhance your message, as follows:

"What? Have you become Hitcher's apprentice?"
