No, I don't sit in my car doing that at all, thats just what I think of companies who expect to pay for the fuel before its in the vehicle. Its also a tad different for me being in a wheelchair. I used to allways pump my own fuel as my van was diesel and it was not that hard for some workers to foam the tank stopping it from completely filling. I truely appreciate all the help I get from others because of what I cannot do myself and I never not let them know that.
Those who insist on perfect safety, don't have the balls to live in the real world.
$1.79 a litre?
Bastards.
use caltex quite oftern on prepay but when you have a fuel card a quick flash of the card and the pumps are turned on no prob.

I had the whole pumps on prepay thing from Shell Northcross late-ish one night and the arse behind the counter flat refused to turn on the pump for me. So I told him to feck off and went just down the road to Mobil Oteha Valley. Been going there even since - they have eftpos at the pump and so the problem has gone away completely.
But to get back on topic: the demise of the English language in NZ is, indeed, most regrettable. But inevitable if you look at the shite that passes for schoolwork these days. Or CVs - I've seen cover letters in txtspeak, from candidates who, one expects, actually think they'll be considered for the job.![]()
